Training Contract 2019
Obtaining a training contract at Kennedys, will be the start of an exciting and successful career in an global law firm. At Kennedys, you will gain early responsibility and client contact developing you into an excellent solicitor, capable of running your own caseload once qualified.
Throughout your two year training contract, you will be supported by senior solicitors and partners to develop you into a competent, confident and commercially driven lawyer.
Our Cambridge office has a focus on clinical negligence, so you will spend three of your six month seats within this field. You will then spend one six month seat within our London office, where you will gain experience within one of the following areas of law: insurance and reinsurance, liability, and commercial.
You may also have the opportunity to go on a client secondment.
To be considered for a training contract in the UK, you will need to have:
- Completed the LPC or will be completing it prior to September 2019
- Completed the GDL (where necessary)
- Achieved or be on course to achieve a 2:1 degree – not necessarily in Law
- Achieved 120 UCAS Points or equivalent at A-Level (please note General Studies will not be included)
