Job Description

Purpose of role

To deliver outstanding secretarial support to partners and fee-earners, displaying a strong focus on exceptional client service. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering a professional secretarial service of the highest quality.


  • Proactive diary management
  • Creating/amending documents and letters
  • Digital dictation
  • Organising meetings, travel arrangements, lunches and conference calls
  • Collating billing guides, drafting narratives and covering letters to clients
  • Time recording
  • Updating/adding contacts to InterAction
  • Processing expense claims
  • Photocopying and filing

Required experience, skills and attributes


  • Fast, accurate typing
  • Ability to turn around large documents at speed
  • Proficient in using InterAction and Microsoft Office suite of applications
  • Ability to prioritise and organise
  • Effective communicator
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to use own initiative and remain calm under pressure
  • Sound team player
  • Confident and professional telephone manner
