Insurance at Pinsent Masons
Financial Services is one of the largest in revenue terms of our four Global Sectors. Insurance sits at the heart of our Financial Services practice, with three out of ten of the firm's top ten clients last year coming from the Insurance sector.
Team Background
The Insurance Team consists of approximately 20 lawyers who focus on both contentious and non-contentious work (the split being roughly 50/50) and sits within a wider Insurance, Regulatory and Products team providing opportunities for close collaboration and cross team working. The Insurance Team's primary clients are leading market insurers as well as other London market entities, life companies and friendly societies, Lloyd's Syndicates, and international insurers with businesses in the UK. A particular highlight is the team's strength of key insurer client relationships. The team is also called upon to advise non-insurer firm clients on insurance related issues.
