DWF is a global legal business with a purpose to transform legal services.  Defined by our values, our strategy is to understand our clients, engage our people and to do things differently. We invest in high quality services, solutions, technology and people, continuously developing our Complex, Managed and Connected Services offerings.

Our range of complex, managed and connected services are designed specifically to meet the needs of our clients.

Complex Services

Our complex legal advice services are the types of services where our clients typically seek out external counsel. Certain services in this field are supported by AI, data-analytics tools and project management solutions.

Managed Services

Our Managed Services part of the business is focused around processes which will be performed across a variety of locations, making use of standardised systems and workflow software tools. We see this work as high in volume which clients can benefit from with increased value and efficiency.

Connected Services

Our Connected Services can be sourced independently or alongside our other services. Through this wide and varied service offering, we can provide professional and business services in an integrated package if required. This can be particularly useful for large multinationals seeking to consolidate and streamline their supply chains.

DWF – Assistant Paralegal Roles - Changing the business of law by making legal services a more powerful enabler of client success. DWF is seeking to recruit talented Assistant Paralegals (Recoveries) to join our fast paced and ever expanding team in Manchester, working on projects with current and future clients. Whether you have experience or a law degree apply today! The Role: To progress Motor Insurance Claims (Defendant) cases to an effective and satisfactory conclusion for clients ensuring high levels of service delivery both internally and externally whilst providing and maintaining management information under the terms of the client service level agreement. Full training will be given! In the Motor Recoveries team we issue county court proceedings for our clients to pursue a recovery of monetary losses incurred as a result of road traffic accidents. Our instructions come from insurance companies and we act to recover their losses, as well as any uncontentious uninsured losses their policyholders have incurred. This type of work is subrogated recovery work, and we handle the matter pre-litigation all the way to a final hearing/ trial, and conduct everything in-between. We predominantly handle Small Claims matters; however we'll handle any value work so long as no contentious uninsured losses have been incurred. Because of the nature of our work, we receive our instructions directly from insurance companies, as opposed to from individual policyholders directly. The three biggest clients for Volume Recoveries are Covea Insurance, MS Amlin and QBE Insurance, though we do also carry out recovery work for other insurers such as Aviva, Markerstudy, Towergate, Protector, XS Direct and LV to name a few. By extension of our instructions from our insurer client's, we then act for not only them but their policyholders also.
